  god hates homosexuality very very much ... right?.

  being wicked homosexual ... you are to be destroyed in armageddon ... right?.

  people were created by god as heterosexual, but some are today homosexual as a result of imperfection - punishment for disobedience of adam a eve..... but why there is so much homosexuality among god created animals?

  Spook, thank you for your response. You in no way come across as a "snot." I took your entire response as being honest and straight forward. I also do not want to get into a drawn out discussion - at this time. At some time I would like to continue the discussion that you mentioned, but alas, I am limited to 10 posts a day.

  As a dispassionate observation, it seems that you tend to set up these hypothesis for the purpose of arriving at a predetermined conclusion.

  Tuesday, just because something records an event doesn't, it cannot be assumed that the event is condoned by said record. Would I be correct in saying that you approve of what Lot did just because you have a reference to it in your post? God doesn't care what animals do. Your comments about rape are amazingly twisted. If you can be bothered to do so, try putting the relavent verses in their proper textual, social, and historical context.

  has anyone done any personal research on how the bible canon was selected?

  i am putting together an article on this and would like whatever insight anyone would care to give.

  preferably historical references that are verifiable.

  Will the "sheeples" be assimilated into the anointed Borg?

  in the early days, the appearance of the other sheeples (great multitude/crowd) was a real problem because the total number of anointed & sheeples were exceeding 144,000 so rutherford invented the idea of the great crowd which would make it possible to exceed the 144,000 limit.

  nowadays, the exact same dilema is happening agian.

  the sheeples are being kicked to the curb after so many years of being called the "generation".

  i'm reading the trial, by franz kafka.

  pretty interesting read so far, though i'm only about 90 pages into it.

  it's about a man who is arrested, but no one will tell him what he's been charged with, or give him any information at all.

  P3 How are homosexual actions a natural necessity?

  P4 What is your basis for knowing the nature of a non-existing god if he did exist?

  C5 Why? Are you saying that God can't exist if there are homosexuals?

  P6 What is the basis for this assumption? How did you observe both conditions? How do you make a comparison when only one set of conditions are known to exist? How do you know that this isn't a "less similar" condition?

  C7 So? You can choose any similarity you want.

  C9 Reading this as written, you are saying that theism is likely true (double negative) and we have one instance of evidence for naturalism. This contradicts C5.

  As for "Bingo bango," you seem pretty proud of your self for proving something, but I have no idea what.

  for those whow believe god authored the bible , this info will make you question your faith.

  very well done.. i would love to see how the wts would respond to this, especially after the new publication on the bible was just released at the convention.. maybe one of our inhouse scholars (narkissos/leolia) can back up this info.

  So? We know that nothing is recorded of Jesus' saying anything about this, but we don't know that didn't actually say anything. I find it strange when people make a fuss about what Jesus didn't say. If there were a record of everything that Jesus said and did, as some seem to wish, It would take a collection of books the size of an encyclopedia to contain it.

  Just because Jesus, Paul, or Jude quotes something outside the canon, that doesn't make the source an automatic part of the canon. While the apochrypha, psuedopgrapha, and other extra-canonical wrintings are very useful, even important, to the understanding of the canon, that does not mean they are necessarily a part of the canon. There may be shades of gray regarding the issue of the "canonicity" of a document. I don't believe that there is a stark dichotomy.

  When the canon was "settled," they didn't gather up everything in existance then pick and choose to support a doctrine they had written themselves. What they did was look at the works that were accepted already by Christians and compiled them. Most of the books were quickly agreed upon. Relatively few (such as: 2 Peter, Jude, The Revalation of John, The Revalation of Peter, The Shepherd of Hermas) were the cause of debate. There was no (little?) debate over gnostic works such as the Gospel of Judas because these works obviously didn't measure up and the commitee was doubtful of the authenticity of such works.

  Ninevah was the capital of Assyria, which was an enemy of Israel. They hated each other. Jonah was angry with God for offering Ninevah the chance to repent and to come to God. Jonah wanted the Assyrians to get what they deserved.

  i myself have always believed that when archaeology disagreed with the bible the bible must be right.

  that is how i dismissed the idea that jerusalem was destroyed in 586/587 bce.

  Scholar, can you show from the Bible only that the destruction of Jerusalem was 2520 years before 1914?
